Michael Jordan earned $90m in 2013, more than nearly any active athlete

According to Forbes magazine, retired basketball legend Michael Jordan made more money in 2013 than any other retired athlete in the world, earning an estimated $90million, more than any active playing athlete aside from boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. who made over $100m. And where did all the money come for someone who hasn't played basketball in almost 10 years? Air Jordan of course! Nike released the Air Jordan 10 "Powder Blue" retro sneaker on Saturday, 20 years after the first Jordan 10s hit shelves. Like all the Jordan retro releases, this one was highly anticipated and first- day sales hit $35 million. Retail shoe sales for the Jordan Brand in the U.S. grew 11% last year to $2.7 billion, with basketball making up 84% of that, according to Powell. Roughly 50% to 55% of that goes to Nike. If you factor in sales of Jordan apparel, the international Jordan business and sales at Nike stores, the Jordan brand is contributing roughly $2 bil...

GOALS

Hi Hope you are doing wonderfully well,I’ll like to discuss on the topic”GOALS” Every person in the world devotes countless hours to thinking of their future and their present situation in life. Almost everyone wishes that there was something that they could change in their life.Whether it is their family life; their friendships; relationships or finances, everyone wants to change something.   The first step to doing that is to set goals. However, many of us are great at trying to set goals; most of us are practically incapable of following through with them.Think about it. How many times have you decided on a course of action and simply didn’t follow through with it? Sometimes even setting goals at all is the harder part of accomplishing any. All it really is- is code talk for new goals that need to be set. The only problem is that most of us set the same resolutions every year, and every year, we remain unsuccessful. After all, if we we...

BE AN ENCOURAGER

Scripture: Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32 Have you ever heard the term "a pat on the back"? When someone does something well, people might congratulate them by patting their back or shoulder. Some people like receiving high-fives, handshakes, or hugs in response to a job well done. Showing Appreciation When you do something well, how do people let you know? And how does that make you feel? When someone indicates appreciation for my work -- or even my effort toward a task -- it makes me feel good. It encourages me to continue to work hard and to do my best. How do you show someone that you appreciate what they have done? And how do they respond? When you show appreciation, you motivate people to continue in the work they need to do -- including the work God has given them. Encourage Each Other The Bible instructs us to encourage each other in the Lord's work: ...

Glow in the Dark. #The science behind glow in the dark products

Glow in the dark powders, glow sticks, ropes etc. are all fun examples of products using luminescence. Chemiluminescence and photoluminescence are behind the majority of glow in the dark p...
