Pires: Arsenal need FA Cup win

Arsenal legend Robert Pires believes it is 'psychologically important'
for the side to claim the FA Cup title this season.


The Gunners face Hull City in the final on Saturday having not won a
piece of silverware in nine years, with their last trophy success
coming in this competition, back in 2005.

And Pires, who won three FA Cup crowns under manager Arsene Wenger
before departing north London in 2006, said: "For the fans, for the
club, for the board, for Arsene Wenger, the final is very important,"
said the 40-year-old Frenchman.

"It is very important psychologically because every player knows it is
very hard to win any title, especially after a long time.

"Everybody at Arsenal knows big pressure is on the shoulders of the
players because we need to win, to concentrate and focus.

"But they must keep focused on the final, it is not an easy game.

"We won 3-0 (at Hull) a few weeks ago, but the Premier League and FA
Cup final is totally different."

It's a beautiful day in the State of Osun, stepping out of my house was graceful and I was particularly excited to go out after a long time isolating myself from this whole pandemic.  On my way out, I noticed some changes within my street (the good, the bad, the ugly).
