Elections! The people and politics.
Elections Elections Elections!!!
It's a time of manipulations, a time of promises, a time to 'acts'
nice, a time to put on 'I love my constituency' attitude, a time to
promise more but fails to evaluate what you have done with the last
term? A time for father-son, brothers, neighbors, friends to become
'FRENEMY'!
I kept wondering what is the real meaning of politics or better
still 'the kind of politics we operates in Nigeria'
Thoughts kept flowing in on my mind, gushing like an ocean trying to
understand the people and politics of Nigerians......
A Presid/Guber; candidates should not tell us that (s)he is going
to give us light, water, motor able roads again!! Tell me if you are a
real leader and you are elected and all you think that the citizens
needs are just lights,waters,roads..... That's the kind of politics we
operates and it's bad.
I looked at all the pre-elections activities and all I see is greed,
out-burst hatred towards your neighbor, 'violence in making'
manipulations of the highest order and some that are ready to die for
nothing.
Now, candidates should be picked based on their competency, what
they can deliver and their track records. We have passed the stage of
selecting candidates based on parties favoritism, no one should impose
on any body anymore. Economy, security, standard education- from pre
nursery to tertiary, creating avenue for skilled hands to soar, better
and standard living conditions...... should be the aims of our leaders
and not giving us th 'BS' of water,light..........!
And when those you expected to work are not working, that's where
you can exercise your dued right- the election day, LET YOUR VOTE
SPEAKS. Our votes can do great wonders in contributing to the growth
of our society.
So, it's another avenue to decides in Osun state, this is a clarion
call to all citizens of Osun, let your vote speaks, don't waste your
vote, vote wisely, if your voting is based on the money you collected,
then, it's wasted! Vote not with fear but grace and let the manifesto
he has written comes into reality.
I love people that decides and stands by it, oh common!! Sit back,
relax, and think about the candidates you want to vote for, is (s)he
worth it?
Nigeria will decides next year, 2015. Your decision is really
important! What will you decides?
