M.A.G.A 0.4
Hello there, thanks for joining me here again. It was a silent February & March. (Especially a deadly March, #COVID-19; but know this, we are rising above this stronger and we will be the better one out of this pandemic. I'm so sorry for silent February, my apologies! I will be ending this series today - My Acts God's Act. It has been explicit I'm sure you can testify to that.
In my last blog, we saw how it is good to communicate goodness, kindness to others. Like I said, "You will be surprised how far your words of encouragement can go, you will not only be helping others but you will be helping yourself to have a fulfilled life." Even in this time of l self isolation, reach out to others, it is noble. If you missed that blog, punch M.A.G.A 0.3 to read.
My Acts God's Act 4 will be crowning this series and we will be looking at a subject matter that is the most important to a believer. Been there to help is good, giving to others either in cash or kind is noble, communicating goodness is awesome but all this will be for nought when such individual or group of persons are not enjoying the Life of God to the fullness. My Mentor said "Light drives away darkness, knowledge gives life - Rev'd Kcwilliams GraceMan", therefore, right information is needed for a person to be born again, the angels can't do this, we have been given a noble task of bringing men into the light of light. And this we do with urgency.
"There can't be salvation if the message is wrong - Rev'd Kcwilliams GraceMan" We have seen folks that said they were born again, strong in service in the church and in no time draw back, I dare to say this folks were not well informed from the onset. My Mentor Rev'd Kcwilliams said "There need to be a gospel preached before we have salvation, it is this same gospel that will bring spiritual growth." So, we don't play down nor tone down the message that got men saved, that is the power of God unto salvation.
Romans 1:16-17
[16]For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
[17]For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Check these out;
16: Apostle Paul wants his audience to have the same confidence in the gospel as he has, for the gospel is humankind’s only hope. People, because of their sin, are weak and unable to save themselves, but God in his power can save them from sin and accept them as righteous in his sight. Through the gospel, God can put people right with himself and still be righteous in doing so, #Cool stuff. But though this salvation is available to all, it is effective only in the lives of those who believe. Only by faith, and never by works, can men receive the status of righteousness that God in his grace gives.
Romans 10:11: For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him, shall not be ashamed; i.e. they shall neither be confounded, nor disappointed of their hope. The Jews, by not believing on Jesus Christ, by not receiving him as the promised Messiah, but trusting in others, have been disappointed, ashamed, and confounded, from that time to the present day. Their expectation is cut off; and, while rejecting Christ, and expecting another messiah, are ashamed of their confidence. On the other hand, those who have believed on Christ have, in and through him, all the blessings of which the prophets spoke; every promise of God being yea and amen through him. #Hallelujah
The almighty power of God accompanies this preaching to the souls of them that believe; and the consequence is, they are saved; and what but the power of God can save a fallen, sinful soul?
17: In the Gospel of Christ, God's method of saving sinners is shown to be by faith, and not by the works of any law; for Abraham was justified by faith, he and all his believing descendants have been justified and they have been declared righteous.
Clear?
The result and penalty of sin is death - separation from God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The payment for that same sin is death. Sin is not paid for by good works, church membership, water baptism, etc. Sin is paid for by death. "God does not hate the sinner, but He hates the sin - Rev'd Kcwilliams" He hates sin because it separates us from Him and He doesn't want us to be separated from Him.
Therefore, we need to preach the gospel of grace to all. This is the all mark of a believer, we have been given a ministry to reconcile men back to God, as we have been reconciled, we do same to others so, they can have this life indeed. "My Mentor Rev'd Kcwilliams will say, motivate a fool and he will become a motivated fool" Give a man that is not born again money, ideas to make money and he will still be in that place of separation from God unless he receives the message of Christ.
How is a man saved? By believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. That a God came to the earth, to make us right before God, he did this and gave us the Holy Spirit, this message of grace not of works, saves man. Faith in what Christ has done is all that is needed to be saved. See this;
Romans 10:9-13
[9]That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10]For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11]For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
[12]For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
[13]For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Saviour. Believe in thy heartthat he who died for thy offences has been raised for thy justification and depend solely on him for that justification, and thou shalt be saved. He who believes aright in Christ Jesus will receive such a full conviction of the truth, and such an evidence of his redemption, that his mouth will boldly confess his obligation to his Redeemer, and the blessed persuasion he has of the remission of all his sins through the blood of the cross.
Now, as a saved man, here is your divine duty. See verse 14 of Romans 10,
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
I am needed, you are needed to declare what God has done in Christ, in order save man. So, we are not quiet about this message, it is a good news! No one should keep such news to him/herself. GO ON AND PREACH THE GOSPEL! ESTABLISH MEN IN THE KNOWLEGDE OF THE TRUTH.
I call you blessed
Till we meet again.... Keep winning!
