Straight Talk with PB
Growing up in an hostile environment could really be ugly. Government policies that is not looking at the masses, living each day as it comes, and don't forget the hostility of the environment where everyone is suspecting one another, the chances of breaking forth in this kind of environment is very low "without doing bad things"
But hey! The above are just facts and not necessarily the truth. And you know what they say about facts? Facts are not equal to the truth!
We live in a society that plays down on good conducts but praises bad deeds, corruption on all levels, fraud is celebrated even on national TVs and those keeping to rules are on the receiving end of the bad things, and you ask yourself; Is it worth it to be good? I tell you been good is good, don't loose that! Will your kids/family be proud of what you are doing right? (Not necessarily the results you are getting but the process, the effects of your decisions)
Never allow the situations you live in to deprive you of your inspiration and motivation. The electricity might not be there to do your work, but don't loose your motivation, improvise and get the work done. Declare what you see in Christ, who you have seen yourself be in Christ, let this take over your spirit man and express itself physically, then you will create an enabling environment to work and do great things!
How?
1. Surround yourself with people who see and believe the realities you see in Christ. My Mentor Rev'd Kcwilliams said "association is very important, those you surround yourself with will determine what you will become". Therefore, don't joke with people you surround with because who they are will reflect in you.
2. Don't be too hard on yourself, allow yourself to grow by giving positive response to negative experience. Learn and grow by every experience, some will be bad, really bad, but don't quit on love because of a bad relationship or a bad business deal. Always give a good response to a bad experience. Tough times give birth to tough people right?
Let's see this together;
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Those ideas, creative abilities, smart thinking, problem solving abilities all came from God the Father of all good gifts, He gave you the ability to do these things for; His glory, and your benefits. So, you cooperating with Him make these expression better felt on this earth!
These abilities & gifts come from God yeah, but the power of "will" and to do it is entirety on you. Yes! If you decide not to get up from your bed in the morning even though, you had the gift of life; you will just stay in bed through out the day. Likewise, God gave these powers to create, you have to decide to create something before things will be created. Got it?
"God gives power to will, man wills through that power; God gives power to act, and man acts through that power. Without the power to will, man can will nothing; without the power to work, man can do nothing. God neither wills for man, nor works in man's stead, but he furnishes him with power to do both; he is therefore accountable to God for these powers. The power to will and be comes from GOD; the use of that power belongs to man. He that has not got this power can neither will nor work; he that has this power can do both."
See another version,
Philippians 2
[13][Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. AMP
Hebrews 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. KJV
Hebrews 13:21 may he work perfection into every part of you giving you all that you need to fulfill your destiny. And may he express through you all that is excellent and pleasing to him through your life-union with Jesus the Anointed One who is to receive all glory forever! Amen! TPT
I leave you with this till we meet again, let it be your "breath" and "food", chew it & live it!
Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
When God got to the zenith of His "creative ability", He came up with you! You are not a mistake! Like the popular saying goes "your background should not put your back on the ground"
Rise up above the obstacles, face your fears by God's power that is at work in you and live a fulfilled life.
Till we meet again.... Keep winning.
