We Must Go

Image
What activity, what confusion surrounds us day after day! And we ourselves are busily carrying out plans and projects. In the midst of all this, the Lord is also at work. He is building His kingdom, extending His kingdom of grace and love.  In all of His activity, the Lord is seeking to bring people into a love relationship with Himself. But love can't be mechanically forced . It must be freely offered from the heart. God doesn't get people to love Him by proclaiming ear-splitting messages as if He were using a supernatural loudspeaker. He doesn't dispatch angels to astound unbelievers all around the globe. He doesn't fill the sky with spectacular signs. My Mentor Rev'd Kcwilliams said "Soul winning is an individual responsibility. Every believer is called to this."  The Lord wants the free trust and grateful love of men and women, boys and girls. So, He works through believers as we obey the great commission. As my Father, Rev'd Kcwilliams said ...

The Little Drops

Image
It's a beautiful day in the State of Osun, stepping out of my house was graceful and I was particularly excited to go out after a long time isolating myself from this whole pandemic.  On my way out, I noticed some changes within my street (the good, the bad, the ugly). Some SMEs started up during this pandemic and they are doing pretty well, buildings were been completed and obviously those that are ready to cause trouble at any given opportunity. (Well, that is not my focus for today)  Did I mention I was going for a meeting? Pardon me, I was actually scheduled to meet a young brilliant CEO of a fast rising software company. We discussed at length, in summary, it was a great and purposeful meet. On my way home, I was replaying our conversation (which I normally do most of the time after a meeting). Of a truth, I was surprised at how versatile I had grown to be. Now, stay with me, I'm just getting to into the real gist.  I remembered an incident that brought about today's...

Straight Talk with PB

Growing up in an hostile environment could really be ugly. Government policies that is not looking at the masses, living each day as it comes, and don't forget the hostility of the environment where everyone is suspecting one another, the chances of breaking forth in this kind of environment is very low "without doing bad things"  But hey! The above are just facts and not necessarily the truth. And you know what they say about facts? Facts are not equal to the truth!  We live in a society that plays down on good conducts but praises bad deeds, corruption on all levels, fraud is celebrated even on national TVs and those keeping to rules are on the receiving end of the bad things, and you ask yourself; Is it worth it to be good? I tell you been good is good, don't loose that! Will your kids/family be proud of what you are doing right? (Not necessarily the results you are getting but the process, the effects of your decisions)  Never allow the situations you live in to d...

"A Shadow of the SCANDALOUS GRACE OF GOD" Definition:  Scandalous - causing general public outrage by a perceived offense against morality or law. Offensive to propriety or morality. Synonyms: disgraceful, shocking, outrageous, monstrous, criminal, wicked, sinful, shameful, atrocious, appalling, dreadful, deplorable, reprehensible, inexcusable, intolerable, insupportable, unforgivable, unconscionable, unpardonable;  Gospel of Grace versus Gospel of morality! Gospel of God's Grace is very offensive to man. Many believers are even ashamed to declare BEING SAVED BY GRACE ALONE. Because they consider it shameful, shocking and outrageous. Nothing less than scandalous describes man's perception of the Grace of God. "For I am NOT ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God unto Salvation unto everyone who believes" Romans 1:16. Who is ashamed of the Gospel of Morality? All religions on earth preach morality, even the atheists who don't believe i...

Light Not Ashes

Image
Hello there, thank you for joining me this week. Can you journey with me as we expound this thoughts today? Yes, you are here already. Let's roll.  What do you see after a fire(wood) has burned out? Ashes! Has it cross your mind that the fire that is so bright now will in few minutes turn to ashes? Have you wondered how the glowing light that burns when touched became so cold when turned to ashes?  Scriptures says that  First this: God created the Heavens and Earth—all you see, all you don't see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God's Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss. God spoke: "Light!" And light appeared. Gen 1:1-3 Did you see the illustration/parable about the creation of the world? Look at what was used to describe to state of the world then... a soup of nothingness, bottomless emptiness, inky blackness, oh, these are a grave state!  But look at what happened after light came, all those states of emp...

Frequently Asked Questions On Salvation 2

Image
.... From last week, Eternal life is the promise of spending forever in heaven with God. God promises, “Believe and you will have eternal life.” For a Christian to lose salvation, eternal life would have to be redefined. The Christian is promised to live forever. Does eternal not mean “eternal”? A Christian is marked by God and sealed by the Spirit. “You also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory”  (Ephesians 1:13–14) At the moment of faith, the new Christian is marked and sealed with the Spirit, who was promised to act as a deposit to guarantee the heavenly inheritance. The end result is that God’s glory is praised. For a Christian to lose salvation, God would have to erase the mark, withdraw the Spirit, cancel the deposit,...
