Frequently Asked Questions On Salvation 2

Image
.... From last week, Eternal life is the promise of spending forever in heaven with God. God promises, “Believe and you will have eternal life.” For a Christian to lose salvation, eternal life would have to be redefined. The Christian is promised to live forever. Does eternal not mean “eternal”? A Christian is marked by God and sealed by the Spirit. “You also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory”  (Ephesians 1:13–14) At the moment of faith, the new Christian is marked and sealed with the Spirit, who was promised to act as a deposit to guarantee the heavenly inheritance. The end result is that God’s glory is praised. For a Christian to lose salvation, God would have to erase the mark, withdraw the Spirit, cancel the deposit,...

Frequently Asked Questions on Salvation

Image
Hello there. This week, I will love to answer some frequently asked questions about salvation, It is important that a believer know what he/She believes in exactly and can "defend" by explaining it someone else.  Apostle Peter said in 2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen Apostle Peter took his time to still remind/tell the saints to grow in grace, i.e. The knowledge of our Lord as saviour! You can't afford not to grow, a Christian spiritual growth is by growing in grace. Grace does not focus on man but on what God-as-seen-in-Christ has done. And again, it is the knowledge of God as the saviour,  not as the angry one, nor the one that condemns.  Therefore, God himself is perfectly explained in Christ. As you see Christ, that's how God is!  Disclaimer: All answers are what my Mentor & Pastor (Rev'd Kcwilliams GraceMan) gave either in a service or in a random discuss...

Hello there, thanks for joining me here again. It was a silent February & March. (Especially a deadly March, #COVID-19; but know this, we are rising above this stronger and we will be the better one out of this pandemic. I'm so sorry for silent February, my apologies! I will be ending this series today - My Acts God's Act. It has been explicit I'm sure you can testify to that.  In my last blog, we saw how it is good to communicate goodness, kindness to others. Like I said, "You will be surprised how far your words of encouragement can go, you will not only be helping others but you will be helping yourself to have a fulfilled life." Even in this time of l self isolation, reach out to others, it is noble. If you missed that blog, punch  M.A.G.A 0.3  to read.  My Acts God's Act 4 will be crowning this series and we will be looking at a subject matter that is the most important to a believer. Been there to help is good, giving to others either in cash or kind...

"Guard well within yourself that treasure, kindness. Know how to give without hesitation, how to lose without regret, how to acquire without meanness." -George Sand Hello there, thanks for joining me again this week. I hope you have learnt one or two things from this series? My Act God's Act series is almost drawing close but my Joy is that the subjects discussed in here becomes a life to us and not just a reading. If you missed last series, click  M.A.G.A 0.2  to read.  There is a popular saying around here that " When you are on fire (literally) and your child is also on fire, you will put out your fire first before that of your child. " Now, my revised version got this added to it "... Thank God you waited to put out the fire on your child" (Smiles). There is another saying that " you can't give what you don't have" See this; There was a poor old lady washing her face near a stream in a village. Suddenly, (some says it's a sudd...

Thank you for continuing this series with me. Since it is a series, I will always continue from where I stopped the previous week. In case you missed last week, click  M.A.G.A 0.1  to read.  My Act God's  Act! Have you heard people say or you said to someone before ; God will surely help you/send help to you? With that statement, you just said to that individual looking for help that he/She should not think of getting it from you. "Look somewhere else" is what you left unsaid. Have you had your heart skipped  before because someone asked for your help? Meanwhile, it was an advice the person needed and not really cash. What if you have silenced the person in the disguise of "I don't have money" to give you? Follow me closely; 1 Corinthians 3:21-23 [21]Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; [22]Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; [23]And ye are Christ...

My Act God's Act Blessed people!! Thank you for joining me today. So, we continue from where we stopped last time; (In case you missed it, you can quickly read it here   M. A. G. A. 0.01  ) When David said   "Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them." PS 106:23 And he was purposing to put an end to them if Moses, his special servant, had not gone up before him, between him and his people, turning back his wrath, to keep them from destruction. BBE  Thanks for holding your thoughts (I.e. if you truly held it 😀 ). A little gist on the verse above, The old testament saints actually believes that God does good and bad. They believe that Satan is a tool and faithful servant of God to afflict people till the people changes unto God. They also believes that Satan is the left hand of God. He is God's police to correct any erring person. To the Jews, Satan wasn...

MY ACT GOD'S ACT (M.A.G.A. 0.01 ) Hello everyone, for the next "few" weeks, I will be doing an exposition on 'My Act God's Act'. Pardon my acronym but I will be using the acronym more # M.A.G.A . Feel free to comment and share this post on all social media platforms, it will bless lives.  As an introduction, lets look up this words together.  ACT is said to be the sum of a person's action, the doing of a thing/something done by someone. MY: Relating/Belonging to me, the object of an action.  GOD: The sovereign being! Man's creator and Saviour.  My Act God's Act. Have you witnessed an accident before and you tried to 'rewind' the incident with the aim that you can take something away so, there will not be casualties in the new accident or better still, no accident at all? Have you seen a young champ or a mentally deranged person been knocked down by a vehicle? And you hear people asking the question WHERE IS GOD when all these are happening?...
