#WorldCup2014 – Germany humiliates Brazil with7 – 1 Thrashing!
8th July 2014 will certainly be remembered as one of the
darkest days in the history of Brazilian football. 2014 World
Cup hosts Brazil were annihilated by Germany at Estádio
Mineirão, Belo Horizonte.
It is as though Brazil never had a chance as Germany
thumped them with an early goal by Thomas Müller
followed by 4 back to back goals by Miroslav Klose, Toni
Kroos and Sami Khedira.
With a 5 – 0 scoreline at half time, only a miracle could have
resulted in a turnaround for Brazil.
Things went from disastrous to catastrophic in the second
half as Germany crowned that momentous win with 2 more
goals by André Schürrle. Brazil closed the night with a
90th minute goal by Oscar to bring the final scoreline to 7 –
1.
With tears in their eyes and disappointment on their minds,
Brazil fans will surely be asking, how did this happen?
